Overview

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, a safety-focused approach, and the ability to diagnose issues across a range of systems.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, and related components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools, schematics, and service documentation.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs, component replacement, and assembly.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Communicate repair findings and service needs clearly, providing professional customer service.

Requirements

- Mechanic experience with diesel vehicles.




- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Electrical experience and familiarity with equipment diagnostics.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair practices for diesel engines and related systems.
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and work around industrial equipment.
- Commitment to protected work practices, attention to detail, and clear communication.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
