CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson. We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to provide individualized support to two (2) students in their home-based learning environments. Rate per hour: $23 to $29 Educational Assistant Certificate/Behaviour Intervention training is an asset but not required Experience supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools and strategies, as well as emotionalregulation supports, is an asset but not required. Experience using TouchChat is considered an asset. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning setting. Ability to reliably travel to and work at the student's home-based learning location. College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
