DISHWASHER/PREP COOK The GrandWay is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our culinary team for the holiday season. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting daily food preparation and event services.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing & Kitchen Cleanliness

- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, sinks, and equipment as required.
- Remove garbage and recycling and follow proper waste disposal procedures.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.

Food Preparation

- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
- Assist with ingredient preparation according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Support cooks and chefs with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks.




- Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries as required.

Qualifications & Working Conditions

- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, reaching, and lifting.
- A team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
