Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing according to client specifications and breed standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use
- Assess each dog’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming procedures
- Handle dogs safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to ensure timely service delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
- Assist with maintaining inventory of grooming supplies and ordering as needed
