Pour Decisions is bringing the excitement to Airdrie! We are gearing up for our ticketed events with Alcohol service, and we are looking for qualified individuals to join the team.
We are seeking attentive and professional Door Hosts to help us keep events safe, orderly, and a fun environment for guests and staff. Door Hosts monitor entry areas, provide courteous assistance, and support venue security through observation and clear communication. Experience is an asset
Duties
- Welcome guests and help manage entry/ exit points in accordance with venue procedures.
- Observe entrances and surrounding areas for safety concerns, unusual activity, or policy violations.
- Monitor guests
- Check tickets and Identification as required
- Identify and report potential safety concerns or incidents to managment
- Assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit areas while treating guests respectfully.
- Follow established procedures for documenting and escalating incidents.
- Protect the privacy and dignity of guests when handling sensitive situations.
Requirements
- Strong observation, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Reliability, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and professional in busy or challenging situations.
- Ability to follow venue policies and safety procedures consistently.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with venue staff and supervisors.
- Prior experience is an asset
