Early Learning Childcare Center & OSC Devon is looking for a passionate, experienced and dependable Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to join our growing team.

We are looking for an educator who takes pride in delivering quality childcare, creating engaging learning environments and contributing to a positive, professional team. The right candidate will bring sound judgment, initiative and a genuine commitment to children's safety, development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support children's development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, nurturing and well-organized classroom workplace.
- Observe children's progress and support their individual developmental needs.
- Maintain appropriate supervision, attendance records, observations and required documentation.
- Follow Alberta childcare licensing requirements, centre policies and established safety procedures.
- Build positive, professional relationships with families and communicate relevant information about children's progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent routines, quality programming and smooth daily operations.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues where appropriate.
- Identify and report safety concerns, incidents and operational issues promptly.

Qualifications
- Current Alberta Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification.




- Experience working in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice.
- Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, professional and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to follow established procedures and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Ability to work on-site in Devon, Alberta.

Employment Requirements Employment is conditional upon satisfactory verification of qualifications and references, a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, a Child Intervention Record Check, and valid First Aid and CPR certification. All applicable childcare licensing and pre-employment requirements must be met.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
