CAD per Hour Job type Contract Job Function Engineer, Electrical Engineer ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER to support the design, execution, and delivery of a major industrial project. This role will provide electrical engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.

Contract

This position will begin as a Vancouver-based role and is expected to transition to a site-based assignment in the future, subject to project needs and timelines. Coordinate electrical engineering work packages delivered by internal teams, engineering consultants, and vendors. Provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, consultants, and contractors.

Prepare and review electrical specifications, studies, calculations, single-line diagrams, drawings, and technical reports. Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, structural, controls, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams. Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, HAZOPs,



risk assessments, and value engineering workshops.

Support procurement activities, including technical requisitions, bid evaluations, vendor reviews, and factory acceptance testing. Identify engineering risks and support mitigation plans to maintain safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives. Provide construction, commissioning, startup, and handover support.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 8-10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in mining, mineral processing, heavy industrial, energy, or major capital projects.

Experience coordinating consultants, technical reviews, and multidisciplinary project teams.
