Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a hard-working, hands-on individual to fill the role of Facility Assistant 3 at our Paterson Grain terminal located in Morris, MB. The Facility Assistant will be responsible for all activities related to the handling and shipping of grain. The successful candidate must be capable of working at heights, in dusty conditions and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

- Receiving, storage, handling, blending, and loading of grain.
- Monitoring stored grain conditions and maintaining a clean and safe facility.
- Perform primary and export grain grading with a strong understanding of grading standards and tolerances.
- Operate the Stockdales system, including shipping railcars.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot any alarms or problems in the facility.
- Operate and adjust grain cleaning equipment to maintain commercially clean grain.
- Support grain blending and binning activities while maintaining grain quality specifications.
- Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to team members as required.
- Serve as a reliable backup to the Facility Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Can be relied upon to run a shift and demonstrate qualifications to move into an Assistant Manager position.
- Maintain a strong understanding of facility operations, equipment functionality, grain cleaning, blending, binning, and grading.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as required.
- Physically capable of lifting 25 kg.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Previous grain elevator experience is required.




- Strong understanding of grain grading, including primary and export grades.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of grain handling equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
