We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Airdrie, AB.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responding to forklift calls

Unloading and loading product from trucks

Moving racks and bins as needed

Compiling required documentation

Safely and efficiently moving and lifting heavy material loads using forklift and/or pallet jack

Performing routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment

Inspecting and performing minor maintenance on equipment daily (i.e. adding hydraulic fluid if necessary) Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods

Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Experience and Skills:



Valid forklift certification – Counterbalance propane/electric sit-down

Previous experience lifting and moving heavy materials using a forklift within a warehouse environment

Experience moving odd/over-sized materials would be an asset

Experience using a skid steer would be an asset Preferred Attributes: Good interpersonal and communication skills

Willing to work overtime hours when required
