Pure Wellness is an Edmonton-based wellness studio dedicated to helping people achieve health, fitness, and overall well-being. The team provides registered massage therapy, acupuncture, personal training, and small group training classes to clients of all fitness levels, from beginners to elite athletes. The studio offers a range of therapeutic massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, cranial sacral, prenatal, geriatric, and trigger point therapy.

Pure Wellness follows a client-centered philosophy that emphasizes attentive care, transparent communication, and empowering clients with understandable health information. This full-time on-site role is for a Registered Massage Therapist based at Pure Wellness in Edmonton, AB.

The Registered Massage

Therapist will provide high-quality therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments, including modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and other relevant techniques, following a client-focused treatment plan. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment, collaborating with other wellness professionals, and supporting clients with education on stress management, injury prevention,



and overall health. The therapist will also help nurture strong client relationships by listening actively, responding to feedback, and delivering professional, respectful customer service.

Candidates should possess strong therapeutic massage skills, including experience with body massage and relevant modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, or other clinical techniques. Candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service abilities, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-centered approach. Candidates should have formal training or experience in Shiatsu or other complementary bodywork practices, or be open to developing these skills.

Completion of a recognized massage therapy program and current registration/licensure with the appropriate regulatory body in Alberta. Ability to work full-time on-site, manage a consistent caseload, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. CPR/First Aid certification and experience in a multidisciplinary wellness or fitness environment are considered assets. #
