The Gerber Cutter Operator works directly for the Gerber lead.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Gerber Helper are, but not limited to:
The Gerber Operator is responsible for using patterns and cutting out pieces of nylon and soft armor fabric to be used in production.
Help set up and operate Gerber cutting machines.
Responsible for spreading, marking, and cutting fabric material.
Organized and can prioritize cutting according to the needs of the cutting team.
Experienced in working with different raw materials: soft fabrics, and hard plastics.
Required to stand for 8 hours while operating the machine.
Position and secure materials on the cutting table to prevent shifting during operation.
Remove cut materials,
organize finished parts, and prepare them for the next stage of production.
Safely and efficiently handle and move raw materials weighing up to 0lbs to designated areas
Strong attention to detail.
Present and maintain a professional behavior.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain clean and safe work setting and report any unsafe conditions.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Requirements:

Pay: $18.20-$20.00 per hour
