Key responsibilities

1. Requirements gathering and documentation

- Conduct discovery workshops with accounting, finance, billing, underwriting, and operations teams.

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

- Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

- Perform gap analysis between existing legacy billing systems and Guidewire BillingCenter out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality.

- Maintain requirement traceability throughout development and testing.

1. Guidewire BillingCenter functional expertise

- Analyze and define billing workflows, business rules,



and functional configurations.

- Support payment plans, invoices, payment allocation, premium distribution, and account billing.

- Define producer/agent commissions, commission statements, and reconciliation processes.

- Support delinquency management, collections, cancellations, reinstatements, refunds, and write-offs.

- Analyze direct billing, agency billing, split billing, and account-level billing scenarios.

- Document payment processing requirements for EFT, ACH, credit cards, and external payment gateways.
