Responsibilities

- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, according to the client's care plan.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and the protected use of mobility aids.
- Support meal preparation, feeding assistance when required, and individual dietary instructions.
- Perform light housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and laundry.
- Provide companionship, emotional support,



and meaningful social interaction.
- Assist with daily routines and activities that promote independence and well-being.
- Provide medication reminders and other authorized medication-related assistance in accordance with training and company policies.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions, behaviours, or overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate care notes and documentation using AxisCare.
- Follow individual care plans, company policies, infection prevention practices, and client safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care coordination team.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
- First Aid & CPR Certification (required)
- Health Care Aide Registration (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
