The Independent Living Support Coordinator reports to the Team Lead and delivers CMHA Calgary Region services. You will support clients with mental illness or concurrent diagnosis through coaching, mentoring, advocacy, and community connections. The work includes practical life-skills development, documentation, safety, and collaboration with clinical and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coach clients in home, money, medication, and self-care management
- Develop coping, problem-solving, interpersonal, and psychosocial skills
- Connect clients with peer, family, and community support networks
- Advocate for care, treatment,

Requirements:

- Relevant bachelor’s degree or human services diploma
- Minimum two years supporting psychiatric disabilities, mental illness, or addictions
- Robust crisis de-escalation and high-risk situation management skills
- ASIST, First Aid, and CPR certifications
- Alberta driver’s license and reliable vehicle
