Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman/woman Pipefitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems in construction, and facility environments. The ideal candidate can interpret technical documents, work safely with tools and equipment, and collaborate with other trades to complete projects to specification.

Duties

- Install, assemble, modify, and repair piping systems for plumbing, HVAC, and industrial applications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping layouts to plan work and determine materials, measurements, and routing.

- Measure, cut, thread, bend, fit, and join pipe using appropriate tools and methods.

- Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and calipers to verify dimensions and ensure accurate fit.

- Apply basic math to calculate measurements, offsets, material quantities, and layout requirements.

- Rig, move, and position pipe and related equipment using approved lifting practices.

- Inspect piping systems, identify leaks or defects, and complete maintenance and repair work.

- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to support safe,



timely project completion.

- Maintain an orderly work area and follow applicable safety procedures and project requirements.

Experience

- Journeyman-level pipefitting experience, including hands-on installation, fabrication, or repair of piping systems.

- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, and HVAC applications.

- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics and translate them into accurate field work.

- Proficiency using hand tools and measuring equipment, including calipers.

- Familiarity with rigging practices and safe material handling.

- Construction or manufacturing experience is preferred.

- Strong basic math skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices.

- Safety tickets are an asset. H2S, First Aid, CSO, WHMIS & TDG
