Résidence Unique Sherbrooke is looking for a licensed practical nurse (infirmier/infirmière auxiliaire) to complete its care team. Full time position. As a licensed practical nurse, you will have the opportunity to: Build a relationship of trust with residents and their families, and inform them about the care required. Contribute to assessing each person’s health status and to carrying out their intervention plan. Perform the various prescribed treatments and assist with hygiene and comfort care. Write notes on residents’ condition, the care provided and the medication administered. Pass on, receive and act on information related to residents. Determine, plan and prioritize interventions according to the situation, the prescription and the established plans, in collaboration with other health professionals. Training DEP in Health, Assistance and Nursing (Santé, assistance et soins infirmiers). Membership in the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ). Excellent judgment and ability to manage risk.
