Job Summary

- Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, handling materials, and assisting with the installation of retaining walls.

- Work alongside construction and landscaping crews to complete projects safely, accurately, and on schedule.

- This is a hands-on role involving outdoor work, physical tasks, and the use of hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain work areas, including clearing debris, moving materials, and assisting with site setup.

- Use hand tools and power tools to support construction and landscaping tasks.

- Help with concrete forming, pouring, and concrete finishing.

- Assist with carpentry, masonry, and other construction work as needed.

- Help move materials and equipment; operate heavy equipment only when trained and authorized.

- Operate heavy-duty company trucks and trailers.

- Follow site safety procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and keep work areas orderly.

- Qualifications





- Construction experience is preferred; relevant hands-on experience in landscaping, carpentry, or general construction is an asset.

- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, hand tools, and power tools is beneficial.

- Experience with concrete forming or finishing, masonry, carpentry, and construction is an advantage.

- Additional experience in heavy equipment operation is sought after.

- Ability to follow instructions, work cooperatively with a crew, and maintain attention to detail.

- Ability to perform physical work outdoors, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

- Commitment to secure work practices and willingness to learn new construction techniques.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
