Permanent or Long Term Contract Montreal, QC -(2/3 days per week onsite) 150,000 - $165,000 (depending on experience) + 9% bonus + 4-5 weeks paid vacation + 6% RRSP matching + benefits + sick/personal day + cell phone allowance + discounts for public transit and may other perks Contract Pay Rate: $110 - $130/hr (freelance/incorporated) Language Requirements: English & French Support the progressive modernization of legacy applications towards the organization's target architectures. Act as a technical leader within a multidisciplinary squad and drive architecture decisions to accelerate transformation while reducing operational risks.
Perform analysis of existing systems, their architecture and dependencies.
Define the target architecture and modernization trajectories.
Support the development teams in the implementation of solutions.
Participate in technology governance and architecture reviews.
Define the standards of quality, safety, performance and resilience.
Supervise the implementation of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Contribute to the observability, monitoring and exploitation strategy.
10 years and more in software development and architecture.
Participation in large-scale transformation or migration programs.
Recognized technical leadership with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Senior qualified with the ability to quickly assess a complex application estate, establish a realistic modernization roadmap, and guide teams toward a modern, high-performance, and actionable target architecture. #
