This contract role supports Foodbuy’s purchasing business plan and category development activities. You will monitor industry trends, identify growth opportunities, and manage category initiatives. The work includes strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration, project management, and marketplace communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own strategic development of category plans
- Identify product and category growth opportunities
- Manage assigned category projects and initiatives
- Conduct supplier negotiations and business performance reviews
- Implement supplier and product rationalization programs

Requirements:

- Minimum two years’ purchasing and supply chain experience
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in purchasing or related studies
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities
- Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases
