We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Senior Service Now Developer (ITOM) for our life sciences client.ABOUT THE PROJECTOur client is a global life sciences organization undertaking a large-scale Service Now transformation across multiple regions and operating companies. As part of a global initiative to modernize and standardize IT Service Management (ITSM), the organization is implementing Service Now as its enterprise platform for core ITSM capabilities while expanding its IT Operations Management (ITOM) footprint.The Senior Service Now Developer (ITSM & ITOM) will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise Service Now solutions that extend beyond core ITSM into ITOM capabilities including Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, Service Mapping, and infrastructure integrations. Working closely with Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, Platform Teams, and Infrastructure teams, you will deliver scalable, secure, and highly integrated solutions that improve operational visibility, automation, and service delivery across the enterprise.ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Senior Service Now Developer (ITSM & ITOM), you will lead the development and configuration of complex Service Now solutions while providing technical expertise across both ITSM and ITOM capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and infrastructure requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, platform governance, and Service Now best practices.Responsibilities include:Develop, configure, and customize Service Now applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and automation across both ITSM and ITOM modulesDesign, build, and support core Service Now modules including Incident, Problem, Major Incident Management (MIM), Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event ManagementDesign and implement integrations between Service Now and enterprise monitoring, infrastructure, cloud, and third-party platforms using REST APIs, SOAP web services, Integration Hub,



and MID ServersDesign, deploy, administer, and optimize MID Server architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and high availabilitySupport CMDB strategy through development of data models, relationships, reconciliation processes, and CSDM alignmentCollaborate with Enterprise Platform teams and Solution Architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and Service Now platform governanceTranslate business and operational requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plansPerform advanced platform administration activities including security configuration, ACLs, roles, groups, and Service Portal administrationDevelop and execute unit testing while supporting system integration testing, regression testing, and quality assurance activitiesTroubleshoot complex platform, integration, and infrastructure issues while identifying opportunities for optimization and automationProduce and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, configuration records, integration specifications, and operational proceduresApply ITIL principles, Service Now best practices, and enterprise governance standards to improve service delivery and platform performanceIdentify opportunities to expand automation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance platform capabilities through continuous improvement initiativesABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of hands-on Service Now development experience within large enterprise environmentsStrong experience developing solutions across both Service Now ITSM and ITOM modulesHands-on experience implementing Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, Service Mapping, and Event ManagementExperience designing, deploying,



and supporting MID Server architecture and integrationsStrong experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, cloud connectors, and enterprise integration technologiesSolid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and monitoring technologiesExperience supporting Service Now platform administration, security, ACLs, roles, groups, and governanceStrong understanding of ITIL principles and enterprise service management practicesExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across globally distributed technical and business teamsService Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferredService Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferredService Now Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery (CIS-Discovery) or other ITOM certifications are considered a strong assetITIL Foundation certification is considered an assetABOUT THE ROLELocation: RemoteDuration: 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extensionAI DISCLOSUREWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) or other automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process.
