Job Overview

- The Level 2,3 Preschool Teacher supports a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where young children can learn, play, and develop.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage early learning, social-emotional growth, communication, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with families and colleagues to support each child’s needs, including children who benefit from special education or individualized support.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with children, families, and team members in English; French or other bilingual abilities are an asset.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons and play-based activities grounded in early childhood education practices.
- Support children’s learning, routines, and positive behavior while maintaining a nurturing and well-organized classroom.
- Adapt activities and classroom approaches to support children with diverse abilities and learning needs.
- Observe children’s development, document progress, and share relevant updates with families and colleagues.
- Use clear verbal communication and writing skills to maintain classroom records, prepare notes,



and contribute to reports.
- Apply basic computer skills and computer operation to complete documentation and use classroom or program tools.
- Follow health, safety, supervision, and classroom procedures consistently.
- Coordinate classroom tasks, manage time effectively, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork throughout the school day.

Experience

- Experience working with children and classroom experience are strongly preferred.
- Background in childcare, teaching, or early childhood education is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or supporting children with special education needs is valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills are key.
- Applicants should be comfortable with basic computer operation and written documentation.
- English proficiency is required for classroom communication; French proficiency and bilingual skills are welcome.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
