Overview

We are seeking a dependable Line Cook/Prep Cook to help prepare and serve quality meals in a clean, organized kitchen. This hands-on role supports daily kitchen operations, from preparing ingredients to cooking dishes and assisting with food service. The ideal candidate works well with a team, follows food safety practices, and takes pride in consistent, timely meal preparation.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing items.
- Cook menu items according to recipes, kitchen procedures, and service timing.
- Assist with meal preparation and coordinate with kitchen teammates to keep orders moving smoothly.
- Support food service and serving needs as appropriate, including plating dishes and maintaining an orderly service area.
- Follow safe food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Clean and maintain kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout each shift.




- Monitor ingredient freshness and notify the team when supplies need replenishing.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to support a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen experience, restaurant experience, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with cooking, food preparation, meal preparation, or the food industry is an advantage.
- Understanding of food handling, cleanliness, and food safety practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, attentive to detail, and able to communicate and work respectfully as part of a team.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
