Overview

- We are seeking a dependable Line Cook to help prepare and serve high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen.

- This role supports daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to order, and maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.

- Prior food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience is helpful. Candidates with a strong interest in the food industry and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Duties

- Complete food preparation and meal preparation tasks, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing ingredients.

- Cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and service timing.

- Coordinate with kitchen teammates to prepare orders accurately and keep service moving smoothly.

- Assist with serving and plating dishes, ensuring each order meets presentation and quality standards.

- Follow food handling procedures and food safety practices, including proper temperature control and sanitation.

- Clean and maintain cooking equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout each shift.





- Monitor ingredient levels and notify the appropriate team member when supplies need replenishing.

- Follow kitchen procedures and communicate clearly with the team during busy service periods.

Requirements

- Interest in cooking, food preparation, and meal preparation.

- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork.

- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen and maintain a clean work area.

- Food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or other food industry experience is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with food handling and serving practices is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
