Technician - Food Manufacturing Facility Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment in our food processing and packaging facility, including dry packaging and can processing machines. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Install, align, and calibrate machinery and mechanical equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures in food processing and packaging equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures. Support senior mechanics and technicians as needed.

Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all maintenance tasks.

Certification or apprenticeship as a millwright, or working towards completion. ~1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in food processing. ~ Valid Millwright (433A) license is an asset but not required. ~ Experience with dry packaging and can processing machines is highly desirable. ~ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.



~ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. ~ Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting. ~ Full-time, on-site position (day shift; flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend maintenance as needed). Fast-paced food manufacturing environment involving standing, lifting, and mechanical work. PPE and safety training provided.
