We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer proficient in AutoCAD to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Designer at Barski Industries, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for wastewater lift stations. You will collaborate with engineering teams to produce high-quality drawings, models, and specifications. Your expertise in AutoCAD will play a key role in delivering efficient and effective mechanical designs that meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for wastewater and stormwater lift stations, including pumps, valves, and associated infrastructure.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings and models for manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review and update designs based on feedback.
- Assist in troubleshooting design issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Mechanical Designer or similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Experience with CAD modeling, drafting, and design for manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of wastewater systems and lift station components is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
