This Purchasing Coordinator handles assigned commodities and projects from an operational and tactical perspective. The role connects Engineering with Suppliers, communicates changes, updates systems, and works with Buyers on strategic commodity activities. Advanced Excel and supply chain experience support daily execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure goods and services required for plant operations
- Prepare RFQ packages and summarize supplier bids
- Communicate Engineering Change Orders and update systems
- Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
- Maintain inventory, reports,
databases, and department files
Requirements:
- One to two years purchasing, planning, inventory, or customer service experience
- Post-secondary education in Business or Materials Management
- Strong purchasing background with hardware or general components
- AS400, IFS, or MRP experience
- Advanced Excel and solid communication skills
Support Skyjack plant operations through MRO procurement, supplier coordination, inventory control, and accurate Engineering Change Order updates.
