Nursing Instructor - Graduate Nurse-Internationally Educated Re-Entry Program POSITION TYPE: NR 2 Part-time (68.57%) POSITION START: January 2027 The Faculty of Health at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for one part-time 0.6857 FTE NR2 appointment position for the Graduate Nurse-Internationally Educated Re-entry Program (GNIE). The appointment is for the period January 2027 to December 2027. NR2 Faculty are entitled to paid vacation leave, career development leave and benefits.

The Graduate Nurse Internationally Educated

Re-entry (GNIE) program is a full time one-year certificate program which prepares internationally educated nurses (IENs) for professional nursing practice and licensure in Canada. The program is designed to prepare IENs to practice within the Canadian healthcare system, renew and enhance previously acquired knowledge and skills, identify and address individual needs, ensure graduates meet the professional practice requirements,



and enable effective communication skills with patients and colleagues. Upon graduation, students will be eligible to apply for registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
