Olivia's Oils & Vinegars is locally owed and operated from the Okanagan, and is part of the TJ's Group of Companies. We are excited for your application toward continuing our local goals of providing amazing products alongside of spectacular service. With locations at Orchard Park Mall, and downtown Kelowna across from 'The Sails' on Bernard, Riverside Dr. in Penticton, and online sales, Olivia's is poised to serve our customers every need. One of the great things that we can boast about is our customers - loyal to the products and our team, and adorers of great flavours they are a treat to serve daily.

What We Do

Our tasting room experience is a journey through the artistry and passion that goes into every drop of our products. You'll have the chance to guide a curated selection of our finest products, each with its own unique character and tasting notes. We lead our customers through the tasting, sharing the uniqueness of our brand and the details of the production process and use cases of our products.

Whether customers are interested in the nuances of our single-varietal oils, the complexity of a dark balsamic, you'll have so much to offer through our deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and dedication behind each bottle.

COMMON STORE HOURS: 9:45am - 6:15pm

This position has varying hours and shift lengths.

Duties

- Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations
- Able to work in a team and/ or individually
- Demonstrate optimism, integrity and honesty




- Maintains friendly demeanour and positive attitude
- Acknowledge customers and help to understand customer needs and wants
- Help to sustain a clean and properly merchandised store appearance
- Eagerly adapts to customer feedback and any opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrate strong team building skills
- Knowledge of all products and dietary restrictions
- Eager to help customers both behind the counter and in front
- Sample products for customers to enjoy
- Able to keep calm demeanour during high volume periods
- Enthusiastic about working with people and acknowledging the “customer comesfirst” approach
- Dedicated to providing a unique and enjoyable customer experience
- Keep the store clean by sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, windows and restockingshelves.
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes up to 40 lbs

Qualifications:
- Retail sales experience is beneficial, but not required
- Driven by excellent customer service and making that sale
- Passion for chocolate and sales
- Desire to pursue career opportunities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts within retail hours of operations. We thank all those who show interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: From $18.25 per hour
