- CA$65,000.00/yr An established limited-service hotel in Port Hardy is seeking a personable and dedicated Front Desk Manager to lead our guest services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on setting and takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience. As the Front Desk Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, efficient handling of reservations, and prompt resolution of guest needs. You will be a key point of contact for guests and staff alike, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining operational efficiency. The salary range is $55,000 to $65,000. Description Supervise front desk operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality guest service. Train, schedule, and support front desk team members to maintain service standards. Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing accuracy. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records, reports, and shift documentation.



Monitor supplies and ensure the front desk area remains organized and welcoming. Requirements Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented, with excellent communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficient with hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite (training provided if needed). Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable and eager to learn, with a positive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
