We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our energetic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions that support our business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of database management, performance optimization, and scripting to ensure efficient data processing and system reliability.

The Oracle

Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative data solutions and improve existing systems, contributing to the overall success of our technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and implement database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL queries.
- Design and optimize database structures to enhance performance and scalability.
- Perform database administration tasks including backups, recovery, and security management.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve database issues efficiently.
- Write and maintain scripts using Shell Scripting, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages for automation purposes.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate databases with applications built in Java, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Utilize SSIS for data integration tasks and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Monitor system performance and apply tuning techniques to improve efficiency.




- Assist in database design projects, ensuring best practices are followed for data integrity and security.
- Document technical specifications, procedures, and system configurations for ongoing maintenance.

Experience

- Proven experience working with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL development and database administration.
- Strong knowledge of SQL programming across various platforms such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with Java development and integration with database systems.
- Familiarity with SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Shell Scripting and Bash (Unix shell).
- Experience in performance tuning of large-scale databases to optimize query execution times.
- Solid understanding of database design principles, analysis skills, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with excellent problem-solving skills.
