Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. is hiring a Plumbing and Heating Service Manager to take over the management of our Metro Vancouver Plumbing team. Accountable to set, sell and deliver the vision to customers and the team. Accountable to provide overall guidance and vision for the Plumbing Division and to deliver to managements’ operational and budgetary goals and expectations. Accountable to provide a positive working environment for Plumbing technicians.

Direct, and provide support to, Plumbing technicians to meet service demands and customers’ expectations. Regularly communicate directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate communication of the job, project status and requirements. Recruit, interview, hire, and train Plumbing technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company / customer expectations and requirements.





Supervise and direct the Plumbing technicians to effectively perform the functions of equipment repair, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction.

Prepare

Plumbing technicians’ performance appraisals, and conduct semi-annual performance reviews with each Plumbing technician. Establish and maintain a regular training program for Plumbing technicians. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each technician for mentoring and coaching. Communicate openly with dispatch to ensure efficient and effective Plumbing Division operations. Ensure that all company/department policies are being followed by all Plumbing technicians.

Standards The successful candidate’s annual performance will be evaluated against: Growth of the department – in terms of sales, profit and staff numbers.

Plumbing and Heating service experience Comfortable using mobile devices and cloud-based software Able to pass a criminal record check Competitive salary ($120,000 - $150,000 per year) Established Team – Core of motivated Plumbing journeymen and apprentices Established Customer base – Numerous preventative maintenance customers.
