Principal duties of the FA or General Accountant - 3 weeks:

Our client is a global and international healthcare company, biotech firms, and academic institutions to acquire, license, and introduce new and established therapies into the Canadian market. They are looking for a General Accountant to join them on 3-week contract. The role is 5 days a week in office located in Oakville.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant or General Accountant for a short-term, three-week assignment with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and hands-on experience with SAP Business One.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting duties.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.




- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
- Utilize Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Work within SAP Business One to manage accounting transactions and financial information.

Must Have:
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or General Accountant role.
- Strong bookkeeping and general accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One is essential.
- Above-average Excel skills, including working with formulas, spreadsheets, and financial data.
- Some experience with budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience preparing financial statements.
- Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Additional Details

This is a fully in-office position based in Oakville.

Candidates must be available to start on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

The assignment is expected to last three weeks (could go longer)
