Support automated equipment maintenance as a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician at JLL’s in office Whitby, Ontario facility. Troubleshoot electrical systems and maintain material handling equipment.

This full-time JLL position supports the Operations Maintenance team repairing pneumatic systems and automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will complete preventative maintenance, document work, and troubleshoot belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and other material handling equipment. The role also includes inventory tracking and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain material handling equipment throughout the building
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging equipment




- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment problems
- Track and store department inventory

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-plus years repairing material handling equipment
- Two-plus years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance
- Flexible availability for weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to move up to 49 pounds
