Prepare high-volume meals as a First Cook in a remote camp setting, using proven cooking methods, food safety, and kitchen procedures. Work 10.5-hour days on a 20-days-on, 10-days-off rotation.

ESS Canada seeks a First Cook with restaurant, banquet, prep-cook, or remote-camp experience. You will prepare food under corporate standards while maintaining quality service. The work requires cooking knowledge, accurate execution, kitchen communication, and secure handling of food, equipment, and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, pre-cook, and cook directed food products
• Organize mise en place for high-volume production
• Clean kitchen equipment after use
• Label, date, store, and rotate products

Requirements:

• Proven cooking experience in restaurant, banquet, prep, or camp settings
• Required Food Safety Certification
• Certificate from a recognized cooking school
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
