Registered Nurses provide resident care and medication administration at Extendicare, documenting services according to regulatory and organizational standards. This is a part time opportunity.

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness or Director of Care, the Registered Nurse coordinates care for residents in long term care. The position requires clinical knowledge, care coordination, critical thinking, and communication skills. Nurses work with residents, families, physicians, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct resident care and administer medications safely
- Complete assessments, service plans, and required documentation
- Coordinate care plans, assignments, conferences, and transfers
- Supervise delegation to Unregulated Care Providers




- Respond to changing conditions, emergencies, and family concerns

Requirements:

- Current Registered Nurse registration in the applicable Province or State
- Experience working with seniors and Unregulated Care Providers
- Robust communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
- Clinical knowledge and ability to delegate responsibilities
- Current Vulnerable Position or Sector Screening within six months
