Support patient wellbeing as a Health Care Aide with Westlock Continuing Care, assisting daily living, mobility, hygiene, and safety needs. This temporary part-time position includes days, evenings, and weekends.

Working within Assisted Living Alberta, you will support patients, residents, and clients across home, community, and health care facilities. Under regulated health skilled supervision, you will follow care plans, assist nurses with routine care, and communicate with families and caregivers. The role supports short-term assistance and ongoing care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support activities of daily living according to patient care plans
- Assist nurses with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety




- Support organized activities or programs for patients
- Observe and report patients’ mood, health, and wellbeing
- Maintain safe environments and support effective communication

Requirements:

- Active CLHA registration as a Health Care Aide
- Eligible for CLHA registration or practice permit
- Proof of education or certificate within eighteen months
- Ability to work under regulated health professional supervision
