Teach Alberta curriculum at ACA while supporting students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development in a safe learning workplace.

The Teacher provides standards-aligned instruction and contributes to ACA’s Christ-centered mission. This position requires assessment, collaboration, educational technology, and strong relationships with families. You will support diverse learners through planning, differentiation, and inclusive classroom practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan engaging lessons aligned with Alberta Education standards
- Use assessment data to inform instruction and feedback
- Create positive, inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms
- Support student well-being and individualized learning needs
- Participate in school events and co-curricular programs

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for an Alberta teaching certificate
- Knowledge of Alberta Program of Studies and pedagogy
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or learning systems
- Required criminal record and child intervention checks
