Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Prep/Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. This hands-on role helps keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service while assisting with basic food preparation. The ideal candidate is attentive to cleanliness, follows food-safety practices, and works well with a team in a quick-paced hospitality environment.

Duties

- Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing and cutting ingredients, portioning items, and following preparation instructions.

- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment; put clean items away in their designated areas.

- Maintain clean and orderly dishwashing, food-preparation, and kitchen work areas.

- Handle food safely and follow sanitation procedures and kitchen guidelines.

- Help receive, store, and rotate supplies as directed.

- Support cooks and other team members during service,



including keeping workstations stocked.

- Dispose of waste appropriately and help maintain a safe, organized workspace.

- Communicate with the kitchen team about supply needs, equipment issues, or cleaning concerns.

Experience

- Previous restaurant, kitchen, food-service.

- Experience with cleaning, food preparation, cooking, food handling, serving, or hospitality is a plus.

- Must be reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions and food-safety procedures.

- Ability to work cooperatively in a busy kitchen and complete physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
