REGENT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY Position Title: Elementary Classroom Teacher Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. We bring the RCAS mission to life through a vibrant, in-person learning community where students from Preschool through Grade 12 engage in rigorous academics, competitive athletics, and the fine arts. Overview: The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English. As soon as possible, 2026-2027 school year Full-time Instructional Excellence:



Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the BC Ministry of Education's standards and a Biblical worldview.

Create a positive environment that encourages student participation and fosters a lifelong love for learning. Evaluate student progress through diverse methods and provide individualized support or tutoring to ensure every child reaches their learning goals. Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development to stay current with innovative teaching strategies (such as "Frenchify" techniques).

Spiritual Integration: Ability to integrate a Biblical worldview into the BC Ministry curriculum and provide spiritual mentorship.

Instructional Excellence: Proficiency in teaching core subjects (Math/English) with a focus on student engagement and academic growth. A servant-hearted approach to building robust, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Adaptable and eager to implement creative teaching strategies (e.g., "Extended Health & Dental, Pension plan available upon eligibility. BC Teaching Certificate (Required). BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a relevant specialty.

Christian Education: A clear understanding of, and commitment to, Christian education and a Christian and Biblical worldview.

Skills: Proficiency in Math and English, strong classroom management skills, and familiarity with office software for administrative tasks.
