Product Designer - Underfloor We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Underfloor team, where you will contribute to the design and development of HVAC Underfloor products. In this role,



you will focus on creating and testing designs, performing engineering analyses, and preparing technical documentation to support manufacturing and production. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients, assists with troubleshooting technical issues, provides service support as needed, and staying up to date with advancements in HVAC technology and engineering.

Designing and testing HVAC equipment and systems according to client specifications and industry standards using SolidWorks and other software tools.

Performing calculations, simulations, and analysis of HVAC systems to optimize performance, efficiency, cost, and manufacturability.

Preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and manufacturing documentation for HVAC projects.

Collaborating with manufacturing teams, other engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery of HVAC solutions.

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Proficient in SolidWorks software and other relevant design tools.

Knowledge of the mechanical engineering principles, codes, standards, manufacturing, and testing related to the HVAC industry, including electrical and controls would be considered an asset.

Previous experience with sheet metal manufacturing processes is considered an asset.

MRP or ERP experience is considered an asset.

Incumbent Personal Characteristics (Must Be) Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering degree or Technology program.
