GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY The Clinical Manager, Nurse Practitioner Services provides provincial strategic, operational, professional practice, and human resource leadership for Nurse Practitioners within the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. The role is accountable for workforce planning, recruitment, orientation, scheduling, performance management, succession planning, skilled practice standards, service quality, and operational effectiveness.





Maintaining current expertise in advanced nursing practice, the Clinical Manager provides professional practice leadership, mentorship, consultation, and oversight, and leads the development and implementation of policies, protocols, guidelines, and standard work supporting Nurse Practitioner practice. In collaboration with Medical Advisors, the Manager supports the competency assessment process and is responsible for communicating assessment outcomes and implementing corrective action plans, where required.

Working collaboratively with the Director, Systemic Therapy & Outpatient Services & Chief Nursing Officer, medical and operational leaders, and interdisciplinary teams, the Clinical Manager supports high-quality, evidence-informed, patient- and family-centered oncology care across the province.
