This position will perform cleaning related tasks necessary to ensure that resident's rooms are safe, clean and that common areas are as attractive and clean as possible.

Saturday and Sunday,1000-1800 Establish and maintain good interpersonal relations with residents, staff, visitors and volunteers, by displaying tact, courtesy and patience Respect and maintain the spirit, dignity and individuality of residents and their families General cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, washing floors and windows, cleaning bathrooms, and changing beds Participate in the preparation and assembly of meals by performing tasks such as making toast, preparing beverages, etc. Perform all duties in relation to the distribution of food Ensure food is served in accordance with the dietary requirements of the residents Purchases and orders food items necessary for the preparation of meals. Maintains an inventory of food and other related items.

Check and collect laundry from residents Move furniture as required to clean Assist in the dining room and laundry room as required Report any situations that may be considered unsafe or a health risk Attend staff in-service and continuing education programs, and approved work related conferences and seminars Work within a social model approach Handle confidential / sensitive material with integrity and discretion Adheres to Connective policies and procedures Is available to work flexible hours as needed, which may include some evenings/weekends,



as determined by program/client needs and schedules Experience in the areas of Community Living and Licensed Care is preferred Good written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Records Check Proof of COVID-19 vaccination Class 5 driver’s license Personal transportation that is in good repair, insured for business up to $1,000,000 for liability, and which can be used to transport client The starting wage is $27.53 - $31.57 per hour, plus benefit.
