About the Position

Alloy Concepts Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Parts Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting machined components to ensure they meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with our machining and production teams to maintain the highest standards of quality.

A machining background is a major asset! Candidates with hands-on CNC machining experience or a strong understanding of machining processes will be highly valued, as this knowledge helps identify potential issues and ensures parts meet the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming parts.
- Work with machinists, production staff, and management to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct in-process, first-piece, and final inspections as required.
- Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and handled.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a strong quality culture.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in quality inspection within a machine shop or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Machining experience or a background in CNC machining is a major plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
