Industry Sector: Building Materials** Salary: $21.00/hr Location: Calgary, in office 5 days/week Job # 16818095 Job Summary Our client in the building material industry is looking for an accounts payable clerk to join their team. The right candidate will report into the accounting manager and be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Responsible for managing, tracking, and reconciling supplier rebates to ensure accuracy and compliance with established agreements. Supports rebate distribution, financial reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track incoming and outgoing supplier rebates.
- Review supplier contracts and rebate payment terms.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reconcile rebate programs.
- Process rebate transactions and distribute rebates to members.
- Investigate discrepancies and report concerns to management.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis as required.
Qualifications
- College diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of accounting, finance, or analytical experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
