We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care through comprehensive assessments and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping patients manage pain and improve their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and conditions.
- Utilize chiropractic techniques to adjust the spine and other joints to alleviate pain and improve function.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in chiropractic care and best practices in pain management.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist with relevant state or national certification
- Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and applying various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Experience working in a medical spa or occupational health setting is preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Commitment to ongoing career development and staying current with industry best practices
- Need Monday, Friday and Sunday.
