Lead complex M&A; transactions and valuations at Sun Life’s Toronto office, with a hybrid work model supporting global corporate development. As Assistant Vice President, you will guide short- and long-term growth strategies across Sun Life’s businesses. The senior, hands-on leader will assess strategic fit, structure opportunities, and advise executives. You will also lead transaction teams, strengthen processes, and develop corporate development talent. Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex transactions from strategic assessment through negotiation and execution Research acquisition targets and assess strategic fit Build financial models and valuations for target businesses Lead due diligence, risk assessment,



and mitigation recommendations Prepare Executive Team and Board transaction materials Requirements:

10–15 years of relevant transactional experience Undergraduate degree focused on finance or commerce Advanced knowledge of M&A; valuation and deal structuring Experience presenting recommendations to senior executives and directors Proficiency using technology and AI tools for analysis Bring transaction leadership, valuation expertise, and sound judgment to Sun Life’s global Corporate Development team in Toronto.
