Full-time, 30-40 hours/week Early morning shifts, including weekends (typical bakery start time to have product ready for opening) Columbus Café is a French café concept known for fresh pastries, viennoiserie, and coffee. Our Erin Mills location is looking for a Baker to join our team and help us deliver high-quality baked goods to our customers every day. Prepare and bake croissants, pastries, muffins, sandwiches, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent quality Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Maintain a clean and organized bakery/kitchen work area Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies,
and notify management when stock is low Follow all recipes and portion standards to control food cost and waste Work collaboratively and support front-of-house during busy periods Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Valid Food Handler Certification is mandatory. Comfortable working early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
