As a Package Handler, you will unload trailers, verify freight, and prepare shipments according to established sort plans. The work includes operating handheld devices, powered and manual conveyors, and power or manual jacks. You will also organize freight, validate scans, and support safe, efficient station operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
- Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to sort plans
- Operate conveyors, handheld devices, and material-handling jacks
- Stage sorted freight for delivery or Linehaul teams
- Complete housekeeping, safety inspections, and assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Availability for shift-based schedules
- Availability at least three days weekly
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms
- Mandatory training and certification for jack operation
