Rendezvous is seeking a friendly, attentive Bartender to create a welcoming guest experience while preparing and serving beverages. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards.
- Greet guests, take orders, answer menu questions, and provide attentive customer service.
- Use the POS system to enter orders and process transactions accurately.
- Handle cash and card transactions, provide correct change, and maintain accurate records.
- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including keeping the bar and service areas clean and orderly.
- Coordinate with servers and other team members to support smooth food service and guest experiences.
- Monitor the bar area, restock supplies, and communicate inventory needs.
- Apply time management, basic math, and multitasking skills during busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous bartending, serving, cashiering, or other food service experience is preferred.
- Restaurant, food industry, or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Demonstrated customer service, cash handling, and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices, or willingness to learn.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced setting.
