Legal Counsel (In-House) at HyperMabs Inc.

HyperMabs Inc., a energetic biopharmaceutical company specializing in novel biologics, is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Montreal. This hybrid role (remote and in-office) involves supporting the company's rapid growth by managing contract lifecycles and implementing legal technology tools under the supervision of the Vice President, General Counsel.

Key Eligibility Criteria

- Legal Qualification: Member of the Quebec Bar or the bar association of another Canadian province.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Languages:



Advanced proficiency in both English and French (required for daily collaboration with international partners).
- Preferred Assets: Experience in Intellectual Property (IP), biotechnology, or the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

- Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a broad range of contracts (confidentiality agreements, service agreements, licenses, clinical trial agreements).
- Act as the internal coordinator for contract management in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage the internal Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution and generate related reports/analytics.
- Support the continuous improvement of standard contract templates and corporate policies.
- Assist with the implementation of technology tools to enhance legal team efficiency.
